ERIN - PERSONAL TRAINER, FITNESS & YOGA INSTRUCTOR

CO-OWNER

Erin is a certified CrossFit coach, fitness trainer and yoga teacher with additional certification in pre-natal yoga. Erin has a lifelong background in sport and has been involved in the fitness industry for 10 years, competing in both individual and team fitness events and more lately on the bodybuilding stage. Erin turned to yoga to physically complement her training with improved flexibility and mobility but found the relaxation element of yoga equally beneficial, providing mental quietude and the ability to feel acceptance and appreciation on a meaningful level. 

Erin is a dedicated mother to three active boys and spends as many hours on the football pitch sideline as she does in the gym! Erin has degrees in both Psychology and Law and has had the privilege of working in both fields throughout her professional life. 

With a no-nonsense; no-excuses attitude, Erin is certain that it is possible to look and feel great, regardless of age, and despite the time constraints and demands of modern parenting and womanhood. Erin is passionate about health and fitness, believing that exercise and movement have immeasurable benefits on every aspect of life and through her teachings, she wishes to inspire women to become the best version of themselves. 

PETE - ELITE TRAINER & NUTRITION EXPERT

CO-OWNER

Pete is a former Royal Marine Physical Training Instructor and competitive athlete, previously representing Team GB in Bobsleigh and Rugby League. Pete has over 25 years’ experience as an elite personal trainer and has trained everyone from A-list celebs to royalty. Since leaving the military, Pete has continued to train military personnel as Head of Physical Training at the Brittania Royal Naval College. However, he has also enjoyed a successful career in security and close protection, working for several high-profile clients worldwide as well as providing mindset and motivational coaching. 

Pete owned a CrossFit facility for over 10 years, whilst competing internationally as a CrossFit athlete. Pete is a qualified sports massage therapist and nutritionist, as well as holding additional certifications in body composition and metabolic testing. In recognition of his dedication to fitness, Pete has been cover-model for Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, and Muscle and Fitness magazines.

Pete is driven by a desire to help others, believing that the best form of natural medicine is exercise combined with a well-balanced diet. Pete lives and breathes the commando ethos of ‘cheerfulness in adversity’ and maintains that ‘positive outlook equals positive results.’

AMBER - YOGA TEACHER

Following a decade of competing in the international Tae Kwon Do world, Amber embarked on a search for an alternative way to channel her mental and physical energy and so began the journey that has led Amber to teach yoga. Having studied anatomy and physiology in-depth and applying a classical tantric philosophy to her personal life, Amber utilises her vast knowledge and expertise as a teacher with inspiring devotion. She has dedicated thousands of hours to her practice and study, working across four continents. In Amber’s classes, you’ll be supported to build a strong body through dynamic, yet playful, vinyasa and in the process move towards transforming your inner-being to a more conscious balanced state. Amber believes in a holistic approach to health and has recently graduated as a nutritionist, life coach and neuro-linguistic programming practitioner. 

JENNY - YOGA TEACHER

Jenny has been teaching yoga for over 5 years after spending an immersive month in India doing her 200hrs teacher training. Since then, she has completed several more yoga, meditation and coaching qualifications to help fulfil her passion of guiding and holding space for anyone who is looking to take a holistic approach to their well-being. Her yoga classes are friendly and light-hearted, following the philosophy that the outcome is far less important than the journey. Specialising in nourishing slow-flow and restorative yoga and seasonal workshops, Jen’s aim is to help you connect inwards, find balance and leave feeling calm, grounded and restored. 

COURTNEY - BARRE INSTRUCTOR

Courtney trained as a dancer at London Contemporary Dance School. In addition, he has worked as a fitness instructor in a prestigious London facility, where he explored all elements of training. He eventually developed his own unique style of training fusing dance, motion and flexibility training with focused functional fitness. Courtney prioritises correct form and technique above anything else and in his classes, he aims to ensure his students understand their bodies and how to feel the difference. With his formal dance training, Courtney’s teaching style has the air of a confident and disciplined dancer but this is softened by his friendly and flamboyant nature and of course, the beat-dropping tunes that he uses to choreograph his sessions.

ARABELLA - PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Arabella is a mat and reformer Pilates instructor who cultivated her love of Pilates during her time living in Melbourne, Australia. She felt passionate about the holistic benefits Pilates could offer and became a qualified instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
Arabella has a medical background as a doctor. This has given her experience in anatomy, teaching and communication skills. For her Pilates practice, she focuses on form and engaging specific muscle groups. She looks to create a welcoming and inclusive class environment. She is passionate about how Pilates can help people and aims to deliver classes that leave you feeling stronger, more connected and empowered.

MAIA - YOGA TEACHER

Born in Portugal, Yoga has been a part of Maia’s life since she was a child. Having completed her teacher training in Goa, India, Maia has taught in Malaysia and Bali. Believing that Yoga is not just a hobby but a lifestyle, Maia is passionate about helping others to realise how much they can grow and learn about themselves through their practice. Maia’s classes are focused on self-love and affirmation, as well as learning to utilise our breath as our greatest medicinal tool. 

VICTORIA - YOGA TEACHER

Victoria has been practising yoga for over twenty years and qualified as a yoga teacher five years ago. She mainly teaches Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga – which is her favourite style, for it’s gentle and therapeutic effects on both body and mind. She is also a qualified SUP yoga teacher! Her approach is to use yoga as a tool to develop strength, inner calmness and self-awareness. This style of yoga practice has formed the basis of her practice and teaching to this day. She also incorporates Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and the seasons into her teaching to achieve holistic wellbeing that considers multidimensional aspects of wellness.

MOLLY - YOGA TEACHER

Molly is a Yoga Teacher and Osteopath with a keen interest in all things nervous system, sound healing and health optimisation. She fell in love with Yoga at university, finding more contentment, improved focus and greater resilience which she could take with her in daily life. She uses her knowledge of anatomy to cater for each individuals’ needs and makes the classes inclusive for every ability. She is passionate about helping people optimise their health, create more resilience and safety within the body, and find a greater sense of connection to self. She holds space for people to slow down, quieten the mind, allowing for the body to manifest its innate healing wisdom and connect with the truest version of themselves.

ABY - PILATES TEACHER

Aby is a Physiotherapist and Psychology graduate, with a wealth of experience in the health and wellness industry. Having completed her training to teach both mat and refomer Pilates, Aby established her own practise in her home country Turkey, dedicated to holistic well-being. She is also a certified Yoga instructor. Aby believes that there is an inseparable connection between mind and body and utilises her in-depth knowledge and unique combination of skills to help others achieve a better sense of overall well-being – both physically, mentally and spiritually.

CATY - YOGA TEACHER

Caty is a former dancer, but turned her focus to Yoga in 2018. She completed her teacher training in Hong Kong shortly after and has since achieved additional qualifications in a number of specialist practices, including aerial yoga and wheel yoga. Caty has a particular interest in yoga to support and care for your back. She incorporates her diverse knowledge and skills in to her classes, which vary from Hatha and deep stretching through to vinyasa and power varieties of yoga. Caty embraces yoga is a lifelong journey and aims to support students to achieve mindfulness in their practice.

TANYA - YOGA TEACHER

 Tanya has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for 12 years and is qualified to Level 2. She went to her first Iyengar Yoga class in 2002 and never looked back. Amazed by the profound effects that it had on her physical and mental health, she soon realised that she wanted to share these benefits with others and began her teacher training in Birmingham. Here she gained her Introductory certificate and after moving to Somerset gained 2 further Intermediate certificates. She is also now a mentor and assessor for Iyengar Yoga UK, training students to become teachers.

Her teaching has been described as “helpful and supportive”, and her welcoming manner encourages everyone to join in and to enjoy the benefits of Iyengar Yoga.

STEPH - YOGA TEACHER

Steph has over 20 years Yoga experience, running classes, workshops and retreats from Somerset to Costa Rica. With a background in performance, directing and teaching Physical Theatre, Steph has always been fascinated by organic movement and the relationship of body and mind. She believes in the importance of playfulness and curiosity to fully connect to our creative potential, sense of self and well-being. Steph sees Yoga as a transforming practice that can reach into all areas of life. Whether a high paced practice, slow flow, breathwork, meditation or nidra, she is eager to guide her students towards a greater sense of spaciousness and ease, and make each session an enjoyable, deeply connected and truly nourishing experience.

UMA - YOGA TEACHER

Uma has been teaching yoga since 2014 and working as a Yoga Therapist since 2019. A true expert and inspiration in her field, she specialises in all elements of Hatha Yoga. For Uma, the yoga seed was sown before she was even born, as her mother practised during pregnancy and later taught Uma sun salutations as a toddler! Practising yoga throughout her teens to balance a fast-paced city life, in her early twenties, Uma followed a calling and moved to India to satisfy a longing to study yoga more intensely. It is here that Uma discovered the transformative power of yoga and now as an experienced teacher, continues to discover expanding levels of vitality, clarity and presence through her practice. Uma believes that with sustained effort and the correct guidance, yoga can deepen any person’s capacity for joy and vitality, cultivating wellness of mind, body and spirit.
